I finally saw the infamous Episode 11. As bad as that animation was, it was still better than Dai Shogun's first episode. I'm surprised that they, since they were trying to cut corners, didn't animate the "mech fight at the tower" in the "DBZ style" (moving so fast that they're just blurs) that we saw in Gargantia.

I also see that this show got something of a plot. It's a done-to-death plot riddled with cliches and the main character is still (annoyingly) a "female Goku" but it was more than I expected.

[spoilerlight]What was up with the nonsense about "Archangel Lucifer" being swayed by Cecil's "Gokuness", her pureheartedness? That was definitely a "lolwut?" moment. BTW, if they flew so high that their mecha froze, how come they didn't freeze when they fell out of their mecha?

That Baumgartner guy had to wear a protective suit for his Red Bull high altitude jump...[/quote]

    Still missing from 4/4/2014:

    AKB0048: Next Stage Ep. 10
From The New World Ep. 02

I have already written DTV customer support, and as typical, they seem to have no idea what to do with it. This time, they treated it as a request for new content.

As DTV would probably be better off to liquidate its entire customer service department and pass on (or pocket) the savings, might I suggest that AN figure out some sort of streamlined reporting process for DTV?

Better yet, how about some executives smacking some heads to get the problem permanently fixed. I am shocked that such an annoying technical problem can persist for so long.

KINMOZA!/Kin-iro Mosaic's New Anime Is 2nd TV Season

Schoolgirl manga's creator Yui Hara thanks fans for new season

The June issue of Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara Max magazine is announcing on Saturday that the upcoming Kin-iro Mosaic (Kinmoza!/Golden Mosaic) anime sequel will be a new second television season. Yui Hara, the creator of the original Kin-iro Mosaic four-panel comedy manga, drew a sketch thanking fans for the new season.

The official website for the anime had announced last month that a production on a sequel has been green-lit. Director Motoki Tanaka (Tensho) reported this month that he has recently been working on a new anime after the first Kin-iro Mosaic anime. He added that this new anime has a slightly different feel from Kin-iro Mosaic.

The Kin-iro Mosaic anime's website had also announced that there will be a special live Kin-iro Mosaic concert event called "Hello Konnichiwa!!" by the group Rhodanthe* on May 4 at 5:30 p.m. at the Zepp Tokyo venue.

The original manga's story begins with Shinobu, a 15-year-old, seemingly "pure Japanese" girl who did a homestay in Great Britain. Even after coming back to Japan, she still misses her time overseas. One day, an air mail letter arrives from Alice, the girl in Shinobu's host family in Great Britain. The letter reads, "Shinobu, I'm coming to Japan!" The "Japanese/British girls' light comedy" follows the lives of Shinobu, Alice, and other girls from both Japan and Great Britain.

The first anime series ran last summer. Crunchyroll streamed the anime in several regions as it aired in Japan, and Sentai Filmworks licensed it for North America.
