From what I read all of the Geneon license they were distributing expired , had to be renegotiated , or something along those lines. Not sure of the full details ,but I think I remember Funimation saying they'd comment on them at Anime Expo this year. For now it all should be treated as unless its been re-released under the classic or S.A.V.E. labels its out of print/license expired.

When is this coming out? I thought funimation licensed it last year and announced a 2011 release?

That was probably the initial plan when they announced it at AX 10, but all kinds of problems arose since then.

Meh!
As much as I love the fact that it actually got licensed, this whole Geneon/FUNi issue has really gotten out of hand.

It really makes me curious now, what kind of contractual twists GU threw into the contracts at the time they were signed when FUNi agreed to them.

For Roberta's Blood Trial, I'm expecting them to do a Shana season 2 and do an in-house dub. That's the gut feeling I'm getting...or maybe that's just the chili talking.
