Spoke to our subscription department and your cancellation is in queue. Thanks.

I was unaware of this thread till it popped up.

Anyway, I signed up for a subscription through the iPhone app (since I don't really bother with my computer much anymore). However, since the iPhone app has been messing up for me, I decided I'd finish watching the series online.

I can't. For some reason, I'm still at a [Guest] level. I've checked my statement today and the $6.99 for the monthly subscription is out.

I've already sent an e-mail to the address provided on the "contact us" page.

Another thing, related to the app, there's no way to check my account status. I click on "account" and it takes me to the login screen. I log in and then it takes me to the subscription screen. I go back to Home, rinse, repeat.

I can't even cancel/refund the account to buy an online subscription.

I'm just wondering but about how long does it take for them to cancel your account because it seems like people are having problems with it

I don't really handle it myself, I just make sure that the correct info gets passed along.

I do know that yours was in the queue because I emailed someone about a couple of things yesterday.

If you read the message above, I DID email them about it, your cancellation is in the queue. I'll ask them again on Monday.

Well, I tried to subscribe but can't seem to get past the Add Payment Method part. I fill in the dialog box but nothing happens when I click the save button. I do get a Java error.

If you exit and log in again, are you subscribed? I know for awhile there, we were getting an error at the end of the subscription process, but I thought it was fixed. I didn't see the error myself, so I don't know if this is the same one or not.

I tried logging out and logging in, but that did nothing. The problem I was having was that when I clicked the save button for the payment method dialog box, nothing would happen.

FYI, I did run Java update after I first ran into the problem, but that did not help.

I got around the problem by logging into the website on my Android phone. I was able to enter a payment method and complete the subscription process.

Great, thanks for letting me know about that.
And I'll report that bug to Administration.

Question 1: Can I use a preloaded Visa debit card for payments toward an ANO subscription?

Question 2: Is it possible to switch to a new card/payment option while the subscription is active?

I happened to look through the forums but did not find any answers regarding these questions. As the questions state above, I use preloaded Visa debit cards to make purchases online. Sorry to say that I try to keep credit card information off the net regarding internet purchases... personal security reasons. Anyway, as an example, is it possible to use a preloaded Visa debit card to purchase a subscription that has adequate funds for a year’s worth of payments? Prior to the year's end, can that payment method be switched to a fresh card with new funds?

If I can use this way to pay and switch between payment methods, can I do this within my profile or do I have to email the subscriptions inquiry address? I really would like to become part of the community now with ANO since I recently lost my ability to receive TAN VOD programming with my cable provider. Please let me know regarding my example, and if I can use this method... thank you.

Answer 1: Yes, you can use a preloaded visa debit card to subscribe, so long as there sufficient funds.

Answer 2: Yes, you can switch cards from the subscriptions manager.

Thank you for answering my questions, Rai. It is much appreciated, and I look forward to becoming an ANO subscriber in the next few days. I will be using another account due to the fact that this account no longer has a valid email address. I had to close it due to major spam issues... BLASTED SPAM! To all you guys at Anime Network... you guys are awesome. Thank you again.

Yes, your On Demand is completely separate from the Online Player. (Perhaps someday... wishful thinking on my part.)

However, subscribing gives you Full Access to every anime in our library.

For a list of FREE anime on the Online Player, go to this thread.

iPhone 4 iOS version 5.1.1(9B206). I just bought a 1 month in app subscription and received the iTunes receipt but both the app and main site show I'm still a guest. I don't want to think I just threw money away so please help.
