Premium subscriber.

Located in USA.

Windows 7 64 bit

Flash 11,3,300,257

Internet Explorer 9.0.3

Bandwidth 32.79 Mbps down

I updated flash this morning and the player is no longer functional.

The player does not initialize no matter the show I select. No error message, no language select screen just a dim black box where the episode is supposed to be.

Thanks for the reporting guys. We have a couple theories as to what might be going on and the update to the Flash plugin is on the list.

So far, I've only seen reports of this issue occurring on Windows operating systems (7, 7 64-bit and Vista,) mainly in IE 9, but there has been a report from a Firefox user.

Can anyone who is currently experiencing the issue check to see if it is happening in Chrome or Opera?
What about any Mac users out there having this issue?

Thanks everyone!

Thank you for looking into the player issue. The player is currently working no the below configuration for Chrome. However, I am getting some pages could not be loaded with Chrome. Reloads seem to resolve that though.

Chrome 19.0.1084.56 m

Windows 7 64 bit

Flash 11,3,300,257

I thought some more diagnostics might help diagnose the problem.

I reverted the Active X version of the Flash to 11,2,202,235 for Internet Explorer 9 and still cannot load the player.

What I have found is that without flash installed, the player box is entirely grey. With Flash installed I get the greyed out image but the player doesn't load any further.

Thanks

The problem appears to be a Flash/IE9 issue. I am running Win7 x64. The player does not load at all in IE9, but seems to be working fine in Chrome, Opera, and Firefox. I just noticed full screen mode in Chrome, Firefox and Opera is useless though, it doesn't overlay the start bar.... I do not want to have to muck with my start menu settings every time I want to watch Anime on here to turn auto-hide on and off.

As an aside, I have been having issues with laggy playback for awhile now. I have a 20Mbps connection, and I just redid this machine last week with an SSD drive. I don't have issues playing streams on Hulu, YouTube, or Crunchy Roll. Quad core AMD CPU, Radeon HD 6670 video card, 8GB ram, I know it's not a hardware issue, and I have more than enough bandwidth. Is anyone else experiencing laggy/pausing playback? It's gotten so bad lately I've had to start watching in SD because the HD streams lag and pause so frequently they are unwatchable. It's even worse the newer the video is, although even older episodes seem to be having issues now. I'm to the point where I'm seriously considering wrapping up the last few shows I'm currently watching and ditching completely. I don't have these issues with Crunchy Roll....

Thank you!

Thanks guys!

At present, the issue seems to be isolated to Windows users running IE 9 and Firefox.
I'll have an update for you guys soon.

Thanks for all of the feedback!

OS: Windows 7
Browser: IE9 / Firefox
Cable Modem w/ wireless router: 30Mbps
Flash: 11.3

Was watching shows until 2 days ago when all of a sudden any show would not load. Have tried emptying browser cache and even restarting comp to no avail.

We've posted an update that fixes the problem in our testing.

Those who've been having problems, will you try to watch again?

Thanks!

Still not working. I have tested with Two Machines

Windows Server 2008 64 bit/Windows 7 64 bit

Both machines have the following and have been tested with:

Internet Explorer 9
Mozilla Firefox 13

Adobe Flash 11.3

Bandwidth: 20mpbs

With Internet Explorer 9, when I sign in to my Profile, I receive a "Message from Webpage"
"Calendar.setup:
Nothing to setup (no fields found). Please check your code"

I did not see this message until tonight, it happens on either Computer. and only in the profile area. I dont know if it is related to the player, but I thought I would mention it.

Please let me know if you need any more information.
