Time Warner Cable, 27514 (Chapel Hill, NC)

I see others reporting this as well, but I don't see a response. I called Time Warner Cable in Chapel Hill to report that after showing us the first 12 episodes of Himawari Too!! they had not loaded up the climactic final episode. They checked the Anime Network website listing of TWC shows and this episode was not listed. They told me that if it wasn't on AN's listing it wasn't provided and I should talk to AN instead of TWC. I did wait an extra week to see if it might show up on its own, and now I'm afraid I waited too long. Is it possible at this late date that this episode might show up on TWC in Chapel Hill?

odds are it will never show.

we are lucky enough to get Modern Magic MAde Simple, after the scheduling dept at TAN screwed that one up as well.

thought at this point it is too little too late for me, and without episode 11 again i wont be interested in seeing the REAL episode 12 of that, nor purchase the series.

the same goes for Himawari considering its failed delivery of not only that final episode, but as well the first season.

I don't think that's TAN's fault, I think that has everything to do with your service provider.

DirecTV didn't get it either, so I doubt that the problem lies with anyone's service provider - it's either TAN or the go-between that TAN uses. Considering that the same thing happened to Modern Magic not too long ago, I'll bet that it was TAN that pooched the screw here. But this screw-up is so egregious that it deserves its own thread.

The TAN schedulers received permission to show a 13-episode anime series, but they only allocated slots for 12 weeks in the schedule. Outrageous!

I've moved all of the distractions to it's own thread . This thread will be about the missing episode of Himawari Too!! on VOD if Slowhand does not decide to merge it with the main thread. If you want to complain about the other stuff more I am moving that thread to Everything Else for now under the topic moving sale until Slowhand and I discuss where it should be.

This has also happened on T W C in Plymouth,NH. 03264( Ch.941),Ep.13 not listed in VOD schedule.

This is the same thing that happened with Modern Magic Made Simple Ep.13 never aired.

Himawari Season 1(Dub) Eps.1-3 have not appeared on VOD despite being listed as being on T W C since 4/12/12 accordin1g to your posted schedule.

NOBODY got it. They didn't send it out. They screwed up. They never scehduled it. Again. They know they screwed up and won't own up to it. This leaves Slowhand and others here on the recieving end of a bunch of bitching and complaining she shouldn't have to put up with. If it was me I'd think about quitting and tell them to get someone else to do it.

now now Rebecca and Joe, you both know like i do that Hornet is correct and it is the fault of the cable providers. TAN is infallible.

Do you see the word "think" in there? it's a verb that people use when they're unsure about something. Based on the information provided, it's a pretty reasonable thing to believe that the issue was with some service providers not getting the episodes to some regions, because I'm pretty sure that happens sometimes.

At no point did I say that TAN is as you say "infallible". And I would never make such a statement. Nobody is capable of never making a mistake, no matter how great they think they are. I was clearly mistaken when I made that statement a week ago, and I'm sorry that you hold me in such high esteem that you take everything I say as fact.

While I am flattered that you think that way, I feel that you should formulate your own opinions from time to time.
