4th manga volume based on romantic comedy light novels to ship in March with Blu-ray

Japan's Kadokawa Group Publishing announced on Friday that the fourth volume of Okagirishō's So, I Can't Play H! (Dakara Boku wa, H ga Dekinai.) manga will bundle a Blu-ray Disc with an unaired original anime episode early next March. Like the anime, the manga adapts Pan Tachibana's romantic comedy light novel series of the same name. The story follows a young man named Ryōsuke (played by Hiro Shimono) who is struggling to regain his "erotic spirit," which he lost by making a contract with a beautiful Goddess of Death named Lisara (Aya Endo).

Takeo Takahashi (Yosuga no Sora, Rozen Maiden, Spice and Wolf) is directing the series at the anime studio feel. while fellow Spice and Wolf/Yosuga no Sora alumni Naruhisa Arakawa (Listen to Me, Girls. I Am Your Father!, Upotte!!) is in charge of the scripts. Character designer Kanetoshi Kamimoto (Yosuga no Sora, Burst Angel) is adapting Yoshiaki Katsurai's original novel illustrations, and Cher Watanabe (Prince of Tennis II) is scoring the music.

Crunchyroll is streaming the anime as it airs in Japan, and Sentai Filmworks licensed the anime for release in North America.

Future 'So, I Can't Play H!' Episodes Delayed by 1 Week

"Late production schedule" delays episodes 8-12; compilation episode to run next week

The premium television channel AT-X announced on Friday that the eighth episode of the So, I Can't Play H! (Dakara Boku wa, H ga Dekinai.) anime has been delayed due to its "late production schedule." The official website for the anime also confirmed the news.

Instead of running the eighth episode twice on Friday, August 24, AT-X will run a compilation episode. AT-X will premiere the eighth episode on Tuesday, August 28, followed by reruns on Friday, August 31. Future episodes will premiere on Tuesdays, instead of on Fridays as before.

The other channels that run the anime will delay episodes 8 through 12 by one week.

Crunchyroll is streaming the anime as it airs in Japan, and Sentai Filmworks licensed the anime for release in North America.

'So, I Can't Play H!' Original Anime BD's TV Ad Posted

Unaired Boku-ha, H ga Dekinai. episode to ship on Blu-ray with 4th manga volume

The Japanese publisher Fujimi Shobo began streaming a television commercial for the original anime Blu-ray Disc that will be bundled with the limited edition of Shō Okagiri's fourth Dakara Boku-ha, H ga Dekinai. (So, I Can't Play H!) manga volume next March. The Blu-ray will feature an episode that will not air during the television anime's run.

The same staff that is producing the television series is producing the original Blu-ray anime episode as well. The ad promotes the scenes in the episode that "will stir male instincts."

The ad notes that the third volume of the manga will go on sale on September 8, and the ninth volume of Pan Tachibana's original light novel series will go on sale on September 20.
