For ratings purposes it is considered a separate channel but just listing Cartoon Network alone can give people the hint you probably dabble in Adult Swim as well. Whatever way floats your boat.

Let's see, I tend not to change the channel most of the time if the TV is on, so I can only really list 4 out of 5.

1. The Anime Network (Charter 983)
2. Discovery Science
3. Cartoon Network
4. SyFy

-edit-

How could I have forgotten SyFy?!?!

I'm just saying, putting both Cartoon Network and Adult Swim on your list is a waste of a space that can go to another channel.

How can so many people watch the History Channel now? It's basically become a waste land of reality TV and is only a slight notch above TLC and MTV. Now if it was H2, I could understand.

I don't watch much TV, but I would have to go with:

1. Comedy Central
2. Showtime
3. BBC America
4. H2
(formerly History International)
5. AMC

While I'm as stunned as you are, the channel has been a monster in the ratings pulling over 1 million regularly. In fact for the week of July 16, the network pulled 1,906,000/940K for primetime/total day (4th/8th) so something on there must be swarming the viewers in.

H2 on the other hand, not doing so hot. 268K/160K (47th/50th)

Just because the channels are part of the same company, doesn't mean they should be included as the same thing. MTV and Comedy Central are sister channels, and have much of the same executive oversight, but they are not the same thing. The programming on H2 is more like what History Channel was before it became infected by the reality TV bug.

To Snowy, I don't really care about ratings. Jersey Shore pulls in huge numbers for MTV, but that doesn't make it quality TV. American Idol is the highest rated show on TV, but I'd rather get punched in the dick than watch it.

Even before the rebrand to H2, History International had established its own identity pretty well. H2 has a focus on documentary and international programming carrying over stuff from the previous network. The network even had an original series titled America's Book of Secrets and has NO plans to add reality TV.
