THAT'S IT, FINALS, IT'S OVER BETWEEN YOU AND ME.

Mine are next week. Not sure if I am going to my calc 2 final because I have to take the class again anyway, but we'll see. I can't wait for this semester to be over.

My daughter will be taking her finals for high school in the next few weeks. She has a little over a month before she graduates! Off to college in August.

Ha! Cool Slick, college is a good thing. My cousin was telling me about his finals the other day. Having to wait for your grade to be posted must be tough!

Don't you just HATE when you get a test back you thought you would get a b on, but got a 50% instead? Chalk up another final that won't matter. Ugh this semester has been total s**t for me.

Cool thing for me is that I thought I would surely fail Organic Chemistry 2, but I passed with a C. I must've done really well on the final, even though I wasn't too sure of what I was doing.

Whew, finals are almost done for me, just 2 more to go. The first test was the lab final which went as expected - 1/3 of the multiple choice questions covered material from previous classes that we did not get to cover. So when he sees 95% of the class getting those answers wrong; he will through out the question. I can't hold a grudge against him for doing so, since I doubt the nice professor can remember what he has and has not taught - this semester. That and he bought us pizza after - no for real; pizza.

The second exam was an online one, so: open note, open book, open google copy paste question with quotes.

The third exam is odd. In the class we only have 3 grades. The midterm, Bonus points that everyone gets, and the final. He forgot to add in the homework that we all had to do. This is the class I have a ? in, since I never learned what grade I received on my midterm as I had to leave class the day we got grades to go finish a lab for a different class. Then the final covers 77 multi choice answers and some essay questions. One kid reminded him about the review and how we were supposed to get answers for it to study. (he meant the essay questions). The Prof posted 77 "practice" multiple choice answers instead of the essay answers. It took me a few hours to solve for all the correct answers but now I have a review and due to a mild form of OCD I also have said questions and answers memorized.

The last one is a professional writing course (basically: young people aren't polite anymore, this is how you be polite on paper). The final is: several writing prompts were you handle the situation. An example was: you manage a hotel and hired someone to kill the overpopulated pigeons. The poison went bad and instead of killing the birds quickly, it does so slowly. Birds are flying one moment and dropping dead on to patrons the next. Write a letter apologizing to the community to the slow death of the birds.

I remember there was one class I cut all the time and even skipped the midterm. I know I didn't do well on the final and was ready to repeat the class, but somehow the professor had given me an A for the course. That was a really strange one! To this day, I still think she got me mixed up with another student.

On the bright side, I only need a 50% on my American History final to get a B. American History / 1900's world history is the best.

Last Final is on thursday, then im FREE WHOOO!!

LOL! That inspires an image of a bunch of old librarians running after me with vacuum cleaners & tweezers! All of my student loans are gov't backed- there is no escape!!!
I'll try just about anything once, but defaulting on a Federal student loan is one experience I think I can live without.
I've got a feeling that the Dept. of Edu. outsources their collections to ex-Russian mobsters?
