Good Afternoon, everyone! (tykes!)

I wish I could stop in more often, but walking back and forth downtown everyday is certainly taxing on the body, tykes.

I do want to come back as an even better gentleman-in-training, and mean something better! b^_-

Apart from that...How much did I miss? (tykes?)

Some new threads but not much more.
Welcome back.

No large number of things, but great in size. One such thing still brings me much sadness.

Oh, and hello again Timber! :3 I look forward to you returning to the chat soon.

Oh, that's rather unsettling. Outlander's one of the few main supporters/reasons for my sketches thread, tykes.

He's supposed to be the first one I send a commission to when I take that step. Now what, tykes? ._.

A Gentleman-in-Training- any Gentleman advice is always welcome, and I'll do my best to assist you in any way in return, tykes!

We live, Timber. We must live, and not regret.

Speaking of living, my family went out into the foothills today to look at another, more secluded property to possibly purchase for future living accommodations (though we would have to have the house built). We hiked around the property and looked at many possible locations to build on; it was all quite taxing at the time of day we decided to go. The best part came when we decided to leave, and I happened to find a tick crawling into my sock...
Wait wait! It gets better! After finding four large ticks on various parts of my body, I pulled off one of my socks to reveal my brown-dotted foot. At first I thought it was just some dirt, and then I saw them moving. I took a closer look, expecting maybe chiggers... and then I remembered that chiggers are much smaller than that. It was when I saw the white dot on one of them that I knew what they were: ticks, about 40 or so baby ticks on each foot. Everyone else looked and they saw the same thing, so I frantically called for them to pull over and we spent about 10 minutes trying to get them all off.
I still have a few here and there, but most of them are gone.

Oh, and as for the next month I have decided to start our Netflix free trial on the Wii and watch all of Star Trek: The Next Generation on it. By my calculations, it will take about six episodes a day to finish within the one month period. Wish me luck, guys.

^ I made this. :3

Rubbing alcohol is your friend when dealing with ticks! I have killed a few with that.

And good choice with the Next Gen series, I might have to follow you on that. That is if you survived the 50+ wind storm that just passed by. Watching it from the window of my house was interesting but a weee bit worrisome.

It's a tough job, but somebody has to do it. To boldly go where no main character will go...

Last night was too beautiful for me to describe. How the sunset colored the clouds, how the wind blew just right, and how there was not a second that lights were not going off in the sky. Oh, it was wonderful. We did have a quick power-outage when the storm actually took hold, but I was too busy telling stories to some family friends to really care.

I'm back! I have spent the last 2 mos. house/pet sitting or playing nurse for a friend who tore the tendon in her elbow. No internet, it really sucked although I had forgotten what TV was like. This is the first time I have been home for more than 24 hours, in what seems like forever. The cats were very happy to see me. I had 2 of them sleeping right on top of me all night. I have got to play catch up on all the goings on here.

Thank you for the awesome sigs Pretear! I do like my fish.

Wow MTV is playing Daria and for Twitter they had the hashtag #RetroMTV. Are they joining in on the rewind craze too? Interesting.

Yay Froggy! It's been weird without the full cast of regulars present so it's great to have you back. I've been doing the same thing you've been up to off and on.

Looks like Iron K. Tager's problem on storms and the internet isn't the only one. Unlike him I could/can access the internet but it appears for me in the aftermath, it slowed it down considerably and wrecked havoc on all things video. No anime, no Youtube.

This is one of those situations where I'm thankful I don't depend on the internet for EVERYTHING.
