Whats in a name?
What is it like to have a name?
Is it passable by the naked eye?
Can it be seen from afar.
Yet it defines us as a group.
Who generates the name that
defines our future and our past?
Why can we only see it and hear it
but the rest of the senses are shaded?
Without it we become a nobody.
It turns into a number that all is lost.
If you give objects the same name
do they grow and advance or have
the ability to wither and rot?
So tell me in society
what part are we?
This is one of my personal favorites. It really makes you think how important your name really is. It also makes you think what you would be if you didn't have a name. How important is a name to you. I have got this published a long time ago.
