91.8 The Fan's Final Fantasy Week

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA – March 6, 2009 – 91.8 The Fan's popular radio show, Kana's Korner, kicks off the weekday with Final Fantasy-related guests and prizes. Starting from 12 noon to 4:00 P.M. PST on Monday, March 8th, Kana will interview guests, including the voice of Lightning from Final Fantasy XIII. Prizes, donated by GameTag stores, will be given out twice daily and include four copies of 'Final Fantasy XIII' and 'God of War III', which will be shipped internationally.

Matthew Mercer (Blaze from Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Crystal Bearers) will cozy into the Korner starting Monday. Throughout the week, guests as big as Crispin Freeman, Quinton Flynn, and Grant George will make appearances. Other unnamed guests relating to Final Fantasy 13 will also be attending the event. Chris Patton, who you may recognize as the voice of Itsuki Minami from "Air Gear", Sousuke Sagara from "Full Metal Panic!" as well as a few antagonistic characters, such as Creed Diskenth from "Black Cat" and Greed from "Fullmetal Alchemist", joins us on Monday, March 22nd at 2:00 PM, PST.

Megan Hollingshead joins us on the Korner on Tuesday, March 23rd, at 12:30PM, PST. Megan is very well known for her roles as Officer Jenny and Nurse Joy in the hit series "Pokemon". We welcome Wally Wingert into Kana's Korner on Tuesday as well, at 3PM, PST! You will recognize Wally as the voice of Renji Abarai from "Bleach", as well as Hidan from Naruto Shippuden.

PST on Monday, March 29th, and will continue through the weekdays. On Monday, March 29th, at 12:00pm we welcome Maile Flanagan to the show. For those who don't know, Maile is the voice of the one-and-only ninja-in-the-orange-jumpsuit, Naruto Uzumaki.

On Tuesday the 30th of March, at 2:00pm, Cosplay idol extraordinaire Hezachan will be joining us today on Kana's Korner! If she's not cosplaying and visiting conventions, she's delving into her other artistic talents, such as her plushie work, her digital photography, or even her digital art.

On Wednesday, the 31st, at 2:00pm we welcome Sam Douglas into the Korner. Sam is best known in the anime and video game circles as the delusive Scott Shelby from the hit interactive movie "Heavy Rain".

During the following weekend 91.8 The Fan will be covering Anime Boston, and Sakura-con (tentatively). The normal interview schedule will resume the following Tuesday.
