Thank PP for thinking about this scene.

So very, very prophetic.

WOW! So that is the infamous scene from Excel! LOL! And made all the better by an ADV dub!

I've never finished watching Excel Saga, as I can only take a few episodes of it at a time...LOL

Yeah it's a pretty intense comedy. Hearing that makes me miss Mandy Clark so much (especially her performance in Azumanga), and of course Spike Spencer in ADV dubs.

There are quite a few VA's I miss. I'm watching DN Angel right now, and was just thinking Seraphim dubs just won't be the same without Jessica Boone either.

LOL! Will have to have myself an Excel Saga Marathon this weekend. One of my all-time favorites!

Scary thing is, my kid brother was the one who introduced me to this series. So glad he loaned me his box set & we didn't watch this episode together. (Unfortunately, that's what happened with the Evangelion movies and the handful of 'baby batter' scene was rather uncomfortable to sit through under those circumstances...)

Yes, the title says it all: GOING WAAAAY TOO FAR!

Now I'm thinking I should rewatch the series for the third time. Excel Saga gets me every time.

Sometimes I worry about the direction humanity is going thanks to clips like these. I did laugh though, but I still had the thought that one guy might need to be taken out of the gene pool.

It's a tough job, but somebody has to do it. To boldly go where no main character will go...

That's what makes it so funny, and satirically brilliant, given this is a very common issue, and perception of a certain subset of fans nowadays... Nabeshin is making fun of the culture, and this was in many cases before the whole loli boom even happened.
