OVA you mean AMV? lol. And yeah I keep putting Dominion off because I have so much to write about that. It's ganna be a hard one to write about. There's so much to say, so much detail to get into, and then so much proofreading. I kind of dread it lol. These were quick and easy.

anyhow, I saw the Ergo Proxy Review...
You know, sometimes amazing Atmosphere can highly overcome cumbersome story telling (Blade Runner) Sometimes what looks to be failed potential for killer designs and high production value ends up saving itself in the end Eureka 7.
But for the life of me, as much as I wanted to love Ergo Proxy, I always feel it never kicked into gear. It has some glorious backdrops, a fresh exciting looking main character, and a solid premise an almost THX1138 type of governed control factor, with follow-bots...however, it just somehow could not seem to pull it altogether for me.
Now, this is not saying it is bad. In fact I still would recommend it, I think I was just expecting the moon, from that first episode. and like you said, if your a fan of Robin, you probably could really sink your teeth into this title.
I am not sure why you think this was a bad review. It was short, but to the point. Kudos.
Yeah Ergo Proxy is not for everyone. There are some problems with it, and it REALLY drags in the middle. But it's good parts far outweighted the bad parts. For some you may think this will be your new favorite title, but it really switched gears (multiple times) and so may not amaze you like you thought it would. I liked how the went from cyberpunk thriller, to adventure, to philosophical journey and back again. But that's just me. I LOVE the way the main character looks too! And I think in the extras (i forget who was in that, it was people who worked on the show for the English release), they said THX1138 was a real inspiration, along with a host of other movies/animes.
Defiantly for the Robin fanboys though. IMO this is Robin without the weak writing.
As for why I think the review is bad. I hate short reviews, but my editor wants me to keep them short. In this review it feels like all i did was sum up the plot pretty much. I didn't delve too deeply into it all. And I didn't even mention the dub. Plus I just don't like the way it flows. But hey at least you liked it lol...
