So having taunted us with a message that Clannad will be despoiled with a dub , is there any chance/news about us UKites getting it streamed?

According to Anime Network, when I asked yesterday... the digital rights for the Sentai Filmworks titles are limited to the US/CAN

I guessed as much, but there hasn't been much in the way of whispers about it over here yet, maybe the big London Expo in May will shine some light.

Aww I didn't know we would be denied Clannad : ( I should of checked this thread before buying the sub really...

Still £4 a month for anime is pretty good regardless so I'll stick around but its terrible having Tomoyo and Nagisa teasing me at the sides (guess I will have to rewatch it another way and wait till the DVD's show up and snap up the US release like with Kanon)

So what happens if I see 2 eps of something thats region locked, buy a subscription then find out I can't watch the rest?

That is a glitch on the server. Those shows are not licensed for UK streaming.

Shame, I assumed as much but there was still a small hope you'd let us watch

Sadly, we didn't get the UK rights to be able to take it across the pond...
