Man, it's taking almost 10 full seconds to maximize any window I have minimized currently.

Bleh.
The wonderful world of almost no virtual resources left during copy/pasting folders & burning on an older computer.

Couldn't you just connect the two to a router, and then transfer the files via the network?

I could probably do it several ways (network, USB, etc...) however, I like having physical backups since I like to wipe & reformat my drive every so often.

Ahhh, I used to do that until I saw myself spending a fortune on blank DVDs and CDs, but now that I have an external HDD it makes everything much easier. Though I've almost finished filling that up too. ><

Yeah, I don't trust HDDs, since there's a greater chance of malfunction, or I'd just do an external and be done with it.

I've heard too many horror stories about losing everything though, so I'll just stick with DVDs, since they're fairly cheap in bundles.
