The Last Airbender Official Homepage
The Last Airbender IMDB

Quoted from IMDB
The story follows the adventures of Aang, a ten year old successor to a long line of Avatars, who must put his childhood ways aside and stop the Fire Nation from enslaving the Water, Earth and Air nations

I only watched a few episodes of the animated series, but this actually looks rather awesome.

I can't watch it, I love the show too much, and M. Night makes me fear the movie.

I've seen the whole series and I enjoyed it. Although I haven't been the biggest fan of M. Night's most recent movies, I have to say that the trailer seems really interesting. I might have just found the first movie on my summer blockbuster list for 2010.

I'm watching the first season right now, and have no real plans on stopping. From all the random episodes I've seen so far I can tell that this a great series, and now I finally get to watch it from the beginning onward.

The movie should be good, ya M. Night is directing, but I have faith in the creators of the show to guide him along the way. Though I haven't checked if they've put their hands into the movie or not...

I'm kinda in the same book as CG.But i'm just scared for he visuals of the movies. some of those kings (such as a flying yak and gravitiless water). I mean the anime did it in a classy/ nice way, that even made me smile. but on the other hand some things simply dont translate to the screen. I've never seen M. Night take on a movie with the the kind of CG that needed....y'know?

Dante and DeMartino are going to be working with Night on it. They said so. I had a total fangasam tuesday night when I saw the preview at the Transformers movie. Given Nights attention to detail, I think it will be great. Its not a yak, its a Bison...I have faith in it. I am going to see it only to see what they do for Jet... although it looks like the kid they got is a little roundfaced...looks like he's seven not like hes about to burst into puberty, probably a good thing since it is a trilogy. smart thing would be to shoot the whole trilogy at once and then cut it up and arange it...
