Ok since GS mikami ep 45 did not appear this week and the episodes are not online are we ever going to get to see the finale? I really liked this one and want to see the conclusion.

I am in no way saying that those who speak with a southern accent are rednecks. But here it is the stereotype that southerners are less sophsiticated then other americans. So I wondered if the same stereotype was being applied to Osakans. But your explination works for me too. Thanks

Ok I have a question. When ever I watch a dubbed Anime with characters from Osaka they are almost always voiced with a southern (american) accent. Does this mean that Osakans are conisdered less sophistacated (dare I say "redneck") then your typical Japenese person?

Just want to respond to a comment someone made a while back ( I don't rememeber who so I won't point fingers). "Just go to the online player to watch missing vod episodes." It was said in such a way that I took it to mean that the underlying problem of missing episodes on the vod every week, is not being looked at seriously. I know it is, but the apperance of indifference to the problem is still there.

And I took it that way because of my dislike of the old player. My ranting about it was premature as the new player is much better for watching subtitled episodes.

Eyeshield 21 is not on the online player and episode 33 was not delivered last thursday (2/17) along with other episodes. And as someone else said there is very little chance it will show up next thursday, that is very irritating.

There are so many missing episodes, what's up? This has been going on for several months now. Is this an Anime Network or DirecTV issue. It's getting really irritating as it is affecting many of the series I have been watching.

Aad before someone says to watch them online, I refuse to suffer though a subbed episode with the online player. Rewinding just a few secconds to get missed dialoge is a pain as it takes a minimum of 10 sec to reset the stream. Then there's the issue of it stopping the video and continuing the sound whenever I do that. This was part of the reason I cancled my paid subscription and just VOD.

Ok rant over. Please get this fixed. Thank you.

To correct something said earlier about directv vod. You do not need one of the HD dvr's, any of the R series dvrs (standard def) or the H series (high def) dvrs will allow you to vod. Assuming you have some kind of broadband internet connection in your home. I have an r22 and vod just fine.

DirecTV. Yes to back up what others have said, it appears that ep 5 of uta kata did not get sent.

On a side note, did someone on your end or directv's end get fired and replaced with an inexperienced person? This kind of stuff has been happening consistantly for several months now. What's the deal?

I confirm that maid sama is on list for DirecTV, and it is downloading fine atm. Thanks to everyone for getting this sorted out. I for one hate it when I go somewhere and a series I'm interested in is only partially available (in stock). One of my pet peeves.
