Awesome life achievement. I have many vices myself (not smoking) but could be considered just as bad, and I lack the self discipline to do anything about it so far.
Maybe I'll take a page out of your book and just learn to do it. Read More...
Miyavi is my favorite musical artist of all time. His genre has changed throughout the years, but he originally started as a guitarist in a VERY visual-kei band (Dual le Quartz). I highly recommend his older stuff, as I've listened to it practically on repeat in the past. His stuff isn't used in anime.
If you like any of his stuff, I can try to recommend other bands that are similar. Read More...
The people who see it on here "in less than a week" after you purchase it do not own a physical copy as you do.
I don't understand why that would make you feel "like a fool"? Making people wait a longer period of time would make you feel better? I don't think I understand. How do subscribers seeing it around the same time your purchase it make any difference?
Are you saying you would not have purchased the Blu-Ray version of Mardock Scramble had you had ample time to read when Mardock Scramble was to be released on the site? Or would you have purchased it to own a physical copy of the movie?
I guess what I'm asking is:
The only reason you bought the Blu-Ray is so you could watch it before other subscribers could? I'm a bit confused. Read More...
Over time, I've realized that (Personally) books never helped me. Perhaps it was a lack of self-dedication.. or perhaps it was flat-out a lack of accountability. I always felt that I wanted to learn the language, but if no one was going to make me then I'd just put it off.
One of the things that really helped me were these two sites: livemocha.com/ (This one was great because if you have a microphone, native Japanese speakers will actually tell you how you sound, or if you're pronouncing something incorrectly)
Live Mocha challenged me to learn both Hiragana and the language at the same time, which is a very big boost. If you learn japanese with Romaji (Romaji being japanese words written with romanized characters: such as writing "gomen" instead of "ごめん") it becomes a sort of crutch for you, and makes it harder to learn the written language.
I hope that helps. best of all, both of those sites are free! Read More...
