Cowboy Bebop the series is on my "rainy day list". For some reason I've been holding off on getting into it. However, I thoroughly enjoyed the movie when they put it up on Netflix. I watched it a handful of times and now that I saw this thread pop up, I think I'm in the mood to watch it again now.
So thanks for reminding me. Read More...
Has anyone seen both the subbed and dubbed versions of Chrome Shelled Regios? And if so does the subbed version fill in some of the blanks that seem to exist because of the breakdown in the language barrier?
Sounds interesting... Never tried to come up with something like this before...
Name: Grimmjow Fury
Gender: Male
Age: 26
Faction: Okazaki
Power: sees better in the dark then most do during the day
Weapon of choice: M4A1 SOPMOD Block II surpressed short barrel rifle and a pitch black fixed plade tanto knife
Description: Grimmjow was born in a small country to the east that has been plagued with civil war 200 years. Abandoned as a child he was forced to learn everything the hard way in a place where losing ones life over a loaf of bread was common place. Frustrated by his place of birth with an overwhelming sense of anger brewing from deep inside joining the resistance, although only being 11 at the time, was the only thing he could do to release the hell brewing inside him. Grimmjow was cursed from the day he stepped on the battle field, cursed with survival. Enduring countless battles as he grew, Grimmjow found that he had a natural talent for taking the fight to the enemy. Elimination of high value targets quickly became his specialty, taking missions that others would dare consider. This became more apparent after he turned 17 when he developed his clans infamous "evil eyes". Once the sun sets and the lights go out Grimms entire eyes fade to shades of black that can only be compared to as looking into the empty pits of hell themself. Every mission was a success, that is every target was eliminated but rarely did anyone besides Grimm make it home. Growing into a man of average height what, at first glance, would be the average build of a healthy young man, Grimms body all pure muslce allowing him extraordanary strength. That coupled with a face the showed no emotion... ever, Grimm did not come across friends but only more victims of his own survival. Grimmjow started to find himself wishing for death around every corner, willingly subjecting himself to operation after operation praying that the next would be his last. It was'nt long after that his wish was granted... or so he thought. When the civil war came to an abrupt end after the governing heads of The Legion where all suddenly dispatched of in a night of sheer terror and violance that it is only whispered of in the shadows and behind closed doors, rumoured to be work of one man with the eyes of the devil, Grimmjow Fury suddenly and for the first time did not no what to do with himself. Peace does not suit him. He took to the road only to find himself in a place where he could feel the emminence of war in the air, the scent of fresh blood on the streets. And just like that, a new home was found and it was called Striker City.

I would think jumping out of an airplane would be the more obvious choice here lol. If that doesnt turn out to be enough try a HALO jump. They can be quite relaxing. Well the HA par at least, LO can get a little sketchy from time to time. Multiply both by 100 at night. (High Alttitude Low Opening).
I want to do one of those deals where you go out and drive all the hottest supercars for a weekend as fast as you can. That sounds like a good time. I cant really think of anything else off the top of my head...
I'm Bazzle, I've been a closeted anime junkie for years now. I like most anime, but I'm much more into the MA rated action and psychological type stuff. I prefer dubs but mostly because I can start watching a few episodes and then if I'm so inclined I can pretty much follow, and enjoy, most shows while they are playing through my headphones off my phone while I'm in the shop. Lately I've slowly been breaking some of my friends into anime also. I like to think that in some ways I'm expanding the genre into places it would normally be scoffed at. I love when my phone rings and a buddy starts rambling on how he was glued to the computer or something watching some an anime that I've convinced them to watch lol. I've been trying to watch more subbed stuff lately as well though because its cool to see the differences, even if only subtle in the characters. However time is always an issue and I hate to admit it but if I've seen a part of a series in either dubbed or subbed and switch to the other and the characters dont come off to my liking, it can totally ruin it for me. Anyway, I'm always on the lookout for quality new anime.
A little about me... I work for myself in the firearms industry and I'm also an instructor. I've instructed on all levels whether you've never seen a firearm in your life or you're swat team is making a big conversion to an updated model. Either way I'll turn you into a machine for the right price lol. I can officially say that I have my dream job these days. I enjoy my shooting sports as well as hockey and flag football in the spring/summer. I would say that I'm most likely not your stereotypical anime nerd. For some reason a lot of anime has a sort of calming effect on me or in some cases an uplifting kind of feeling, I think that is partially what got me so hooked. Between that and the visiual asthetic of most I find very apealing, Gankutsuo for example is exceptionaly good in my opinion because I enjoyed watching the actual animation as well as the story. I do love when I find a gem that makes me want to be real evil though lol, Death Note would be a fine example I think.
I guess thats all I got. I cant think of the last time I felt so compelled to write as much about myself or my interests, the anime has been building up in me for too long I guess lol.
