Chris Patton stopped working for Funimation before the lawsuit. In fact, be had stopped working for them before a few years ago, and only went back when ADV stopped dubbing for some time. He was originally cast as a "major character" (his words) in Tsubasa Chronicles, but that was recast for some reason. Around the same time, he stopped working there for quite a while. He made some comments about possibly goinbark work in Dallas/Ft Worth or Los Angeles, but that Ft Worth may not have been possible due to "issues".
After ending work at Funimation, Chris initially said he was leaving anime dubbing altogether and was going to focus on audio books, video games, etc. However, he lives in Houston and when Sentai started dubbing again, he began working with them. So this isn't the first time he has stopped recording at Funi, it's just the first time he has been so vocal about it.
I ad forgot about Viz rescuing Ghost. Thanks for the reminder.

Didn't get a chance to post in the last couple of weeks but everything seemed to be going fine. Then this week not a single episode appeared. Given the holiday weekend I'm guessing support with Uverse won't be very responsive so it will be next Tue at best before I even try to get in touch with them.
