Sorry to post so many times, but I also wanted to mention the newest game I am now playing, as of the 20th of this month. I just picked up Project Diva F for the PS3 when I was at ACen. I have been hooked on that game for the last few days. I finally just completed all the songs on normal, now I have to go back and try them on hard.

On the plus side, it looks like one could buy just Sword Art Online, without having to pay for the sequel series that they crammed in

But it's a thin plus side as this is still rather pricey, does not appear to have any extras involving the English dub (only rarely have I found Japanese cast extras to be worth watching) and doesn't seem to have a really, truly great dub to begin with.

As someone who didn't really care for the show when it streamed on Crunchy, someone who just wants to check out the dub, I feel that this is much too pricey. Cherami, Bryce (et al), I'm glad that y'all don't get paid based on the sales of your dubbed anime as I don't think I'll be picking this one up. I felt the same way about Madoka Magica and I did buy that one, and in doing so I learned that the lacking on-disc extras and physical knick-knacks in the box don't come close to justifying the price.

I understand that Aniplex wants to go for the approach of selling SAO as a "luxury" item but I expect luxury-grade product for these prices and I can't say that I'm getting it.

Why couldn't they have just kept on letting Funimation (and others) dub their stuff and release it here?
