So I've decided to buy some large CD/DVD binders to hold most of my DVDs. I just have too many now and they are taking up a lot of space. I'm going to keep my anime and blurays in their cases on shelves, and possibly TV series as well, but I think the rest will go in the binders. I want to keep all the anime artwork I can, and blurays are just too pressure sensitive. I just don't want to risk them cracking or chipping in the books. Read More...

The new ep. is live, but completely un-watchable.
So it'll probably be taken down soon and put back up at a later time when it gets re-encoded properly.
It seems the new episode that just went live, Samurai Bride Ep. 03 has an encoding error.
The video starts fine, until here is a vocal track.
It goes to a black screen on the first part the vocal track for the song starts, after that, each vocal track just completely pauses the video, then it starts back up again once there is no vocals.
All the while, there is absolutely no subs.
I've been meaning to bring this up since April, but it kept slipping my mind.
You know, it's been a little over 3 years (04-02-2010) since TAN started its first simulcast with Demon King Daimao.
In these past 3 years, things have changed drasically as far as simulcasting goes.
There's just so much more content being put out these days, simulcast-wise, than there EVER has been before.
Which is an amazing feat, considering the 3-year time frame.
So hats off to TAN!
For making our lives ever more anime filled than ever!
Have a little contest and give the barkeep voice roll to some lucky fan. It's just a couple lines, how hard could it be to find someone to speak them?
LOL, kinda like the contest the dubbers of Patlabor the TV Series ran back in "the day" for a fan to voice Ota's "blind date" (all of which was chronicled, in video, as a DVD extra that I hope Sentai/Maiden managed to preserve on their rescue release)?
Maybe they could get Stephen Foster to do it. His Orphen Outtakes were humorous IMO.
I've heard that Sentai dubs whole series in ~6 hours/actor. With that kind of breakneck speed it would only take them a few seconds to fix the lines in the last volumes and dub the silent bartender.
Sentai, if you do go back and dub it, please do not take out the "color filter" lines. Those were frickin' hilarious. Read More...
