this is astory about aboy named tyson who lives in a dojo with his grandpa who is training him to to be a skilled martailartist. but whats hip in this show are beyblades spinning battle topsthat if are built well enough can make and boring day into a exciting one. tyson seeks out of dojo training after his granda shows him thenext to tyson family sword that was said to posses the power of the dragoon a dragon with enormous power. he goes to battle andrew the best beyblade in town who is the only person undefeated and when he gets to andrew something bad happens a person named carlos beaats andrew and takes his blade. with tyson enraged he goes to battle carlos but not before he meets kenny aka the chief who is expert on beyblade. they tune tysons blade and his launching ablities and then goes after carlos and beats him . but then kai the best blader ever know at this point shows and he is mad that carlos lost since he was his employe. kai and tyson battle but it turns out kais blade was powered by a pheinox called draner. this is rare since only a few beast can be put in blades. kai uses dranzer and destroys tysons blade. tyson kenny and andrew make a new blade that ends up being powered by dragoon and with his power tyson and kai tie in a rematch. then in a tornement that tyson wins and beats kai in he meets two new friends max and ray and by a surprise tyson kenny max ray and even kai form a team that repersrnts japan around the world in beyblade
