Adapted from the famous Akira Kurosawa's equally famous film "Seven Samurai". Unlike the original film, this anime is set in the post-apocolyptic setting. A village of farmers, who are very poor, make their living by growing rice. Every year, their village's women and rice are taken by bandits. This village sends a "water" priestess to look for samurai willing to defend the village for payment in rice. The struggle begins as no samurai are willing to get paid so low to defend a whole village from the mighty forces of the brigands. What sort of samurai will come to aid the village and what will be the final result?
