Yukari Hayasaka is a high school student who is tired of the meaningless repetition of school and home…until she is "kidnapped" by a girl in gothic Lolita attire named Miwako, who dubs her "Caroline" and takes her to the atelier of a small fashion design team called Paradise Kiss. There she meets George, an extravagant fashion designer who inspires in her a passion she's never felt...though it's an angry passion more often than anything else. Along with the Paradise Kiss team, Yukari attempts to have a more interesting life.
