This week will be a big one for fanatics of the criminally underrated 6 part mini series, Towanoquon. After a ton of requests (and quite a bit of "friendly" threats), we're giving our guys what they want: an English dubbed version will begin rolling out this week on Anime Network Online AND Anime Network VOD! Although this show went a little under the radar last year, what with the OTHER stellar six part mini series (Broken Blade) and quite a few standouts during the season, this show is one you don't want to miss. Packed with beautiful animated action sequences, an intriguingly complex story, and characters that will grow on you like a second skin, Towanoquon is guaranteed to entertain, and can very easily become one of your favorite new shows.
Towanoquon boasts an all-star cast of English VA's (which you will have fun figuring out when you watch the first episode!), and an animation team that features the famed late Director Umanosuke Iida (Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team, Hellsing), with character designs by Toshihiro Kawamoto (Cowboy Bebop, Wolf's Rain), and with concept designs by Yutaka Izubuchi (Patlabor, Gundam 0080). Produced by studio BONES, you can expect the same type of top notch quality as their other projects as well.

Towanoquon No man, not even a superhuman, can stand alone against a faceless adversary.
