Hey guys, this week we had a couple of new things going on, one of which was some maintenance time that took a bit longer than we anticipated. For that, we apologize, but hopefully the new additions to the site (new forums and community sections) will make you guys hate us a little less! Kidding. Anyway, we've been going around fixing things as they pop up, so we'll be back to full strength pretty soon, count on it!
In the mean time, we have some new shows this week! Another premiered yesterday with ep. 1 Rough Sketch, so if you haven't watched it yet, now would be a good time. Today we've got our usual roll out of shows continuing plus a very special anime classic that you shouldn't miss out on. I'm talking about, of course, Grave of the Fireflies, the seminal masterpiece from Studio Ghibli. Read on to learn more about this unforgettable film:

In the aftermath of a World War II bombing, two orphaned children struggle to survive in the Japanese countryside. To Seita and his four year old sister, the helplessness and indifference of their countrymen is even more painful than the enemy raids. Through desperation, hunger and grief, these children's lives are as heartbreakingly fragile as their spirit and love is inspiring. GRAVE OF THE FIREFLIES is a tale of the true tragedy of war and innocence lost, not only of the abandoned young, but of an entire nation.
